How to Enter

Entry Information & Submission Form

FAQ’s:

  •  Can the work have shown in a previous USPS Art Project exhibit?

Answer: YES! Open to works that have and have not shown before, so long as they were made collaboratively via the mail!

  • What does “ready to hang” mean?

Answer: Ready to hang means that there is a hanging wire on the back, or D-ring or other hardware that makes it easy for the installer to hang the work. No tape / velcro / or temporary alternatives.

  • Can work be done by more than 2 artists?

Answer: Yes! One artwork can have multiple collaboration partners in its creation, but only 3 artworks per individual artist will be allowed. For example, say your piece had 3 collaborators, if you submit that piece, each artist can submit 2 other artworks in addition to that piece.

  • Is my piece too big?

Answer: size limitations are only what the USPS can ship. Not sure? Check out there standards here: https://pe.usps.com/businessmail101?ViewName=Parcels

  • Will all artworks submitted be accepted?

Answer: To be determined. The gallery has limited space but wants to allow submissions of all sizes, large to small. Since we don’t know yet the sizes and amounts of submissions that will come in, submissions will be accepted and reviewed by the gallery and they will determine that the work meets the criteria, (framed etc) that there are not too many artworks by one individual artist, and then see how all the artwork submissions fit into their space. They will contact all artists on acceptance of their work approximately a week after the submission deadline.

  • Will the exhibition be viewable online?

Answer: Yes, they will have the artwork for sale online as well as in person at the gallery.

  • How do I create a return shipping label?
